FAQ

Answers for students, parents and colleges. If yours is not here, ask us.

Students

Do I need to know robotics or coding before I join?

Not for workshops or bootcamps. Level 1 of every track starts from zero. The ROS 2 bootcamp and the internship expect you to program in Python or C++.

Do I keep the kit?

Workshop and bootcamp kits stay with us so the next batch can use them. Ask us about buying a kit to continue at home.

Is the internship paid?

The industrial internship is a training programme with a fee and no stipend. You work on live drubelabs modules with a mentor. Strong interns are considered for paid roles.

Will my college accept the internship for credit?

You get a certificate and a mentor’s report covering your hours and work. Most colleges accept these; check with your department before you start.

Can I get a drone pilot licence through DART?

DART teaches you to build, program and fly drones safely. For a DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate we refer you to a DGCA-approved training organisation.

Safety and scope

Is it safe to fly drones in a workshop?

Every flight happens inside a netted cage or a cleared area, after a safety briefing, with an instructor watching.

drubelabs is a defence company. What do students actually learn?

Mobility, sensing, autonomy, embedded systems and secure software. DART never teaches weapons or explosive payloads.

Fees and payments

Are the fees final?

Fees on this site are before 18% GST. Colleges get a fixed quote after a short call.

How do I pay?

Students pay online through the payment link on each programme. Colleges pay by invoice.

What if I can’t attend?

See the refund policy. In most cases you can move to the next cohort.

Colleges

What do we need to provide for a workshop?

A hall or lab with tables, power points and space for a 3 × 3 metre drone cage. We bring everything else.

Can you run it for more than 60 students?

Yes, as two sessions on the same day or across two days.

Do you work with schools?

Yes. We run weekend clubs for Class 8–12 and support Atal Tinkering Labs with kits and teacher training.

We’ll drive a rover into your seminar hall. The demo is free.

A 45-minute session with a live rover drive and a drone flight in a netted cage, for any engineering college in Kerala or Tamil Nadu.
